Dear Sir/Madam,
Welcome to Letterheadlogos.com
Please venture around the pages and feel free to contact me with any
questions or comments.
MY BACKGROUND:
Working with letters is something I started with back in 1989 when I worked
for Baldwin Designs, a wood-sign company in Concord, Massachusetts. I went there
after school and learned how to hand carve letters into wood.
I furthered my education by taking a 2-year full-time course in sign
painting at Butera School of Art in Boston, courses with Jay Cooke at Vermont
Sign School, night school programs on graphic design at the Art Institute of
Boston, and I was lucky to receive a 4-day semi-private class on reverse glass
painting & gilding from Rick Glawson at Fine Gold Sign Co. in Wilmington,
CA.
It wasn't until 1998 that I began creating some script letters inspired by
meticulously studying antique advertising and old letterheads. In 2001 I
completed my first script font after motivation by Chuck Davis at
Letterhead- fonts.com. Today, Ballpark Script is one of the top selling fonts at
LHF.
Recently, I have been working on old Letterhead style logos spending many
hours trying to achieve the old look with modern technology. My goal is to spark
an interest in bringing back the old ornate logos of the early 19th
century.
You can view samples of my fonts on this site and purchase them by following the links to Letterheadfonts.com. I do not sell fonts privately.
Please take your time and view the images for each font in their respective gallery. There is also a gallery page including images from other exciting designs and projects.
